    Hi there,

first of all, thanks for your support. This is my third support request and at each time you were really fast in responding. Thank you!

    Now to my questions:

    1. We installed mainWP and we want to give every registered user access to the mainWP-dashboard to connect and manage their own sites. We are looking for a way to adjust the visibility of sites and data in an automatic way (no manual adjustments). That means, user A only sees his own sites and user A does not see the sites of user B (and vice versa). I bet you have a function for this purpose, such as “filtering out sites/data that is not created by logged-in user”?
    2. Is it possible to give registered users without the role “administrator” access to mainWP? I was thinking to take a random role (like Editor) and provide it the necessary capability. But which capability do I have to provide to make mainWP visible and manageable for Editor?

Thank you very much again for your support.

    Hi @auditt

    Appreciate the kind words.

    1. This is not currently possible. We do have an extension, Team Control, with which you can create your custom roles and set custom privileges to created roles. But please keep in mind that this is not meant for your clients but for your team members, so please make sure that the clients don’t end up with access to undesired parts of the MainWP Dashboard.
    2. Only Administrators are able to access MainWP Dashboard. You may be able to modify the administrator user role to remove certain capabilities, but unfortunately, I don’t have a list of capabilities that a user role needs to have to access the MainWP Dashboard.

    You are most welcome.

    Hi Bojan,

thank you for your quick input. Is it possible to add a filter for the next release to enable clients to add, see and manage only their own sites? So, we could add that filter in our functions.php or wherever.

I guess that is a quick win from your side?

    Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion. I have to point out that adding this may not be as easy as one might think and that MainWP Dashboard wasn’t designed with the idea of Managers giving their Clients access to the Dashboard.

But please feel free to make a suggestion about this on our feedback site. That way, others can vote for it, letting us know which features our users want the most. https://feedback.mainwp.com
