We have Strong Testimonials installed at the Network Admin level for a multi-site configuration. Over the past several months, we’ve discovered that the plugin automatically deactivated itself at the network level. No other plugins are experiencing the same behavior. A pattern of when/why it’s happen is unknown; doesn’t happen on same day of the month for example.

Upon clicking “Network Activate” everything is back to normal.

Some of the Site Health info:
    WP version 5.7.9
    Divi theme version 4.9.4
    Strong Testimonials version 3.1.7
    Server: Linux 3.10.0-1160.71.1.el7.x86_64 x86_64
    php version 7.3.33
    database server version: 10.3.39-MariaDB

Any known reports of this problem? Solutions? Other information I can provide?

    Thank you.

  • Hi @dandpdev,

When this happens again can you please check the PHP error logs on your server to see if any specific errors or warnings are associated with the deactivation of the Strong Testimonials plugin. These logs might provide valuable insights into the cause – and you can send them over using this form: strongtestimonials.com/contact-us/

It might be that it deactivates due to an incompatibility with something else on the site, and the error logs would be really helpful.

    Warmly,

    Mihaela
