Hi there, thank you for this plugin. I have set up a product page and set it to an annual description. I’m selling courses and other ebooks, and many users have purchased the courses individually (a couple thousand users so far). How do I create special privileges for those who buy the membership subscription so that they get access to ALL the courses on the site (obviously, I wouldn’t want those who are not subscribers to get access to courses that they haven’t purchased). Thank you for any insight.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It’s kind of like a bundle product, except the bundle offers various courses for lifetime access. I want to restrict it to a one-year subscription.

With the free version you’ll need to visit each individual course page and restrict it based on your plans.
We have this addon in the paid version https://www.cozmoslabs.com/docs/paid-member-subscriptions/add-ons/global-content-restriction/, but for more information regarding us please contact us via our presale form here: https://www.cozmoslabs.com/support/open-ticket/

    Best Regards!

Thank you Cristian. Though I’m not certain if that solution will work because up until now, each user has purchased individual courses. So the default user is subscriber. I don’t want to affect the current customers, just make everything available to the annual subscribers if that makes sense.

When I follow your suggestion, I see the content restriction but I’m not sure if checking any of these boxes will do what I am trying to do? Is it clear what I’m trying to do?

That particular page is not restricted. Everyone has access to it. You’ll need to select the “Display For”: and choose what active subscription plan can access that particular page.

In your case, you should choose both “All Subscription Plans” and “School of Growth Hacking Exclusive Membership” if I understood correctly. More information can be found in our documentation: https://www.cozmoslabs.com/docs/paid-member-subscriptions/content-restriction/

Hi Cristian, I tested your solution. I clicked the boxes “All subscriptions” and “School of Growth Hacking Exclusive Membership.” I signed up for the subscription. No follow up was sent to the customer after checkout so they are not able to access the order. Also, it seems like all the courses are “unlocked” now even if the user is not enrolled in the course (I only selected three for subscription but now all of them are available to all users): https://schoolofgrowthhacking.com/courses/

It seems like when I signed up for the subscription (after creating it with your plugin), all of the courses are unlocked for the registered user (ticking the boxes was not needed). That’s the intended effect, right? Just need to send the customer some follow up so they know how to access everything — the courses don’t show up in the Tutor dashboard.

I’ve submitted a form on your support contact page. I’ve set everything up but can’t seem to get it to work. ??

Just another update and this might be helpful to others.

I was able to “unlock” the ebooks and courses by adding “Product Discounts” at the bottom of the subscription and setting it to 100% fo rhte subscription.?

However, the customer isn’t redirected and doesn’t receive a follow up email — after checkout, they get a receipt of the purchase but they can’t find the products. Still trying to figure out what to do there.
