WooCommerce Lost Password page redirecting to login

    WooCommerce redirects the lost password page to a front-end, nice looking page. Unfortunately, with AIOSEO on, the link to reset the password (the one that is emailed to the user) redirects to the login page instead of the reset password page. I’m not sure why this is. Can you give me any insight into where I might check in the settings to fix that? I’m sure I’ve probably got something set wrong.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Could you please go to AIOSEO > Search Appearance > Advanced?

    Once there, please scroll down to the bottom of the page and see if Crawl Cleanup is enabled. If it is enabled, can you check what’s selected for the option called Remove Query Args? If Crawl Cleanup is disabled, please let me know. Thanks!

    Remove Query Args is set to Yes. Allowed Query Args is:

    /^utm_*/

    Would changing that fix it? I’ve still got the plugin disabled for now…

    1. Can you please try disabling Remove Query Args and let me know if that fixes the issue?
    2. If so, would you mind sharing the query args present in the URL that were getting removed?

    That did solve it! The query args:

    /^utm_*/

    I vaguely remember that I may have set that after getting a search console error, but I’m not 100% sure, and can’t remember what it was trying to resolved. This may well be my fault!

    I’m glad that the issue is fixed!

    That is the default value of the Remove Query Args feature.

    You can safely disable the Remove Query Args feature to fix the issue, and if you face any issues in your Google Search Console account, feel free to let us know and we’ll be happy to investigate further.
