Hi! I tried to install the Wordfence plug-in but it failed with this message:
Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.

    Anyone know how to proceed

Hi @barryraphael, thanks for your question.

If you’ve had Wordfence installed previously on the site, or an incompleted installation, you may find /wp-content/plugins/wordfence already exists when viewing your filesystem on FTP or in your hosting file manager.

If it does, try deleting the “wordfence” folder and its contents completely before trying again. Let me know if no folder was ever present, or if the issue persists despite removal.

    Thanks,
    Peter.
