• Hi,

I just re-installed my wordpress and all my pages are gone. I have a db backup and backup of files.

I tried to drop the database from phpadmin, edit the wp-config.php the reinstall wordpress, then restore import database but still no luck.

Can somebody please help me or point to the right direction? Most of the posts i searched for the similar issue are closed but with no resolution.

Any help or assistance will be appreciated.

  • Have you checked the database post import to ensure that everything is where it should be?

It’s also possible that you may need to repair the database. I’ve had this happen a few times after exporting and importing a database.

Access your WordPress database via phpMyAdmin (most hosting providers offer this in their control panel), check all of the tables, and choose “Repair tables” from the pull-down menu.
