    Hi @swanandlion ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the settings to Enable email notifications are not saving, is that correct?

Please can you clarify the following:

    • Does this occur for all email notifications or only specific ones?
    • Are there any error messages being displayed when saving these changes, or does it simply save but revert the changes when refreshing page?

As a first step, I’d suggest performing a full conflict test to see if there are any theme/plugin conflicts disabling the email notifications.

The support guide below provides detailed steps on how to do this:

Should the issue persist, please can you share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to?WooCommerce?→?Status. Select?Get system report?and then?Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under?WooCommerce?→?Status?→?Logs.

Once you have these, please share them in your response here.

    Cheers!

    Thanks for your quick reply.
It is happening with a number of notifications. Most are now disabled, only a few remain enabled. None can be enabled. There are no error messages.
I will do the conflict test.
    Thank you

I will do the conflict test.

That sounds like a plan, please let us know how this goes.

Just to add – if you do not want to test on your live site, you can use the?Health Check?plugin, this will allow you to disable all plugins and change the theme, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site ??

    Hope this helps!

I have narrowed it down to the Sendinblue – WooCommerce Email Marketing plugin. I have deactivated it.
They are quite difficult to get in contact with. Do you happen to know if there is a way to report this bug to them through Woocommerce?
    Thanks!

    Hi @swanandlion ,

I am really glad to hear that you have managed to identify the culprit!

Unfortunately, this cannot be reported through WooCommerce, and you would need to reach out to the plugin developers in order to report your findings.

You can try reaching out in their dedicated support forum. Here is a direct link:

Hope this helps point you in the right direction!

    Hi @swanandlion ,

You are very welcome, happy to help ??

Since further support is required from the Sendinblue plugin developers, I will go ahead and mark this as resolved.

Feel free to create a new topic if you need further help with WooCommerce core.

Also, if you have a minute, we’d love it if you could leave us a review:?

Hi – I seem to be having a similar problem again. Notification emails were not being sent. Most woocommerce emails were not enabled and it would not save changes when I tried to enable them. I deactivated Brevo plugin (previously sendinblue), which I had recently updated to the latest version. I have been able to activate the email notifications again but I am not receiving new order notifications.

In woocommerce settings – email – new order email notification – recipients – this is how the addresses are entered: [email protected], [email protected]

    This has worked fine before.

Now, [email protected] is receiving but [email protected] is not.

If I check WP Mail Logging, it has the address as [email protected],\n

I have searched for a solution but cannot find anything.

Any help would be really appreciated.

    Hi @swanandlion

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing the issue again with your email notifications.

Based on your explanation, it looks like it might be a problem with the email address [email protected].

Here are a few things you can try:

    1. Check the spam/junk folder of [email protected]‘s email account. Sometimes, emails might be mistakenly classified as spam.
    2. Verify that the email address [email protected] is correctly entered, without any extra spaces or characters.
    3. Try to send a test email from your WordPress site to [email protected] to see if it’s received. You can use the Brevo plugin settings to send a test mail.

Regarding the issue with WP Mail Logging, the “\n” character is a new line character, which shouldn’t affect the sending of emails. However, if the email address is being displayed with a comma and a new line character, it might be a formatting issue. Try removing the space after the comma in your WooCommerce settings.

I hope this helps! Please let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.

Removing the space after the comma has fixed the problem.
