• There were many errors… permissions errors and memory limit errors (despite the fact we have a high memory limit set on the server we were migrating from and all permissions are standard 755 and 644). Then it appeared to complete and said it only missed two large backup files. I knew those files didn’t matter so I thought that was good. I checked the site on siteground and it looked completely wrong. I investigated to figure out the issue and discover that over half the plugins have been deactivated as the migrator failed to copy over those plugin files. However this was not reported anywhere at the time of the completion of the migration. I had to manually copy those files over using FTP and reactivate those plugins. So really the migrator was pointless as I had to use FTP anyway. Hence 1 star.
