Hello! First I want to thank you because you helped me with a problem a couple of days ago. And now I would like to ask you for help with the following: is there any way that the bar does not consider the amounts of downloadable products or services, which do not have shipping? For example, on my page we have a gift card and also a therapy scheduling service… and when it is added to the cart, the bar also appears, despite the fact that these products are not shipped.

    I appreciate your help!!

    Hello,

The default functioning of the plugin is intended to be as such, however, as you have implemented a custom threshold, the process works slightly differently. Therefore, it seems that you have stumbled upon a bug! ??
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have just launched version 2.6.9, so ensure that you update the plugin.

Please note that the progress bar will not be visible if only virtual or downloadable products are present in the cart. However, if they are combined with other physical products, then the progress bar will be displayed.

    Best regards

I updated it and when adding only downloadable and bookable products, the bar doesn’t show up… that’s great. But it would be ideal that when combining products in the cart, the bar does not consider the amount of these products. I did a test combining a simple product with a downloadable one and consider both amounts… it would be great if you reviewed it. Thank you so much!!

I understand. It can be done with a little bit of custom coding. We can even add this option, but then you’ll have to figure out how to handle it in the cart. By default, WooCoommerce doesn’t bother with shipping methods if there are only virtual or downloadable products in the cart. But if you mix them with physical products, that’s when the shipping method rules kick in, as defined in the settings.

In your shop, let’s say you add a $30 virtual product in the cart and a $20 physical product, you’ll automatically be qualified for free shipping! If we exclude virtual products from the calculation, the progress bar would display $30 before reaching the threshold, even if WooCommerce offers free shipping.

I understand now. You’re absolutely right, I didn’t know that woocommerce worked that way. So it’s best to leave it like that.
Thank you very much for your help and quick response! ??
