Mobile Menu Not Working On iPhone/Safari Mobile

  • I recently added the Botiga theme and everything works fine except the little hamburger menu whenever using an iPhone. I tried 4 different iPhones and the icon just turns to the hover color but nothing happens until I click the cart icon then and only then does the menu slide out when I click the icon.

    I’m updated to the latest version of WordPress and all plugins are up to date as well.

    I even tried to install a responsive menu plugin and while the menu icon did show it also does not open when clicked (iPhone/Safari only). I saw a few different posts on different forums with possible fixes but nothing worked for the OP’s plus they were running different themes.

    For anyone else having issues with your mobile menu not working on iPhone/Safari mobile or just not working at all I turned off Async Javascript and that worked for me. It made my GTmetrix score drop a few points but at least now all users and access my site’s navigation.

    yeah I fixed it, the Async Javascript was messing it up. I turned it off and the menu started working again. Thanks.
