I’ve been using Broken Link Checker for years and suddenly it’s no longer appearing in the Tools in WP. Where can I find it now?

    Hi @asiancaucasian

    I hope you’re well today!

If you have updated the plugin you should see it as a separate admin menu item: “Link Checker” with two submenus – “Cloud (new)” which is a new cloud-based checker engine; and “Local (old)” which is exactly the same plugin that you used to use so far:

I received an email that it was updated, but it does not appear there.

    Hi @asiancaucasian

    Hope you are doing fine!

If the plugin is not showing in the WP admin menu, it may be deactivated. Could you go to the Plugins page and verify? Please check the following image as a reference.

    Hope this information helps

Hi Luis! The plugin is still there. I got an email two days ago that the plugin was updated. I think that’s when it stopped showing up in the settings.

    Hi @asiancaucasian,

The plugin is still there. I got an email two days ago that the plugin was updated. I think that’s when it stopped showing up in the settings.

If the plugin is activated, it should be showing up on the left sidebar in the WordPress admin panel just like any other plugins added to that menu, not under the Settings as a submenu. Could you please confirm that the issue is resolved and you can see the plugin as in my colleague’s screenshot? If so, we can mark this thread as resolved, if not please let us know what you are seeing there with screenshots if possible, so that we can help you further.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer
