I just installed Inactive Logout for the first time a few days ago. I configured it for Role logouts. It’s been active for days and nobody is logged out. I disabled Administrator logout and set all others to 30minutes save for subscriber which is set to the default 15 minutes. Using several test accounts, none of the role level accounts is logged out.

    Hi @squyrm

When you disable role based logouts – Does it work as expected? Try enabling “debug mode” from settings > Inactive logout and see if there is a countdown happening on your end.

Disabled roles and logout time is 15 minutes. I also enabled debug mode. I logged out and back in. Went to watch a long instructional video and I am still logged in.

Strange. Which WordPress version are you on?

When you enable debug mode – do you see a white bar at the bottom of the screen showing countdown for you?

    WordPress 6.0.2

With debug mode enabled, I did not see any white bar nor any sort of indication that it was running.

Please try updating the plugin which was released today and see if it fixes the issue for you.

This is probably related with react render method on the plugin – has been rectified in the latest version.

    It is working now! Thanks.

Can you tell me where you store the times for each of the roles when enabled?

You can configure the times from role based tab in Inactive Logout settings page.

If you are referring to where this is stored then this is stored in options table under “__ina_multiusers_settings” option
