• I have installed a theme (gamepro) and was updating some stuff in the theme, I shut down for a bit came back and when I signed into admin it came up as a blank page.

I have seen HUNDREDS of blank page solutions, but nothing has been working within the knowledge I have.

Is there a way to change the site theme from gamepro to a different theme without accessing admin so I can see if it is the theme?

Where can I change this reference?

Ok.. after attempting one more login, I decided to change the plugins folder name. I logged in, and now I get this on the login page after login. Can someone help me out on this?

Access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the /GamePro/ directory. This will force the Twenty Ten theme to activate.

Then, with all of your plugins deactivated, return the directory’s name to what it what is was originally and reactivate the theme. If the problem returns, I recommend staying away from that theme.

Thank you I will give it a try.

EDIT: Renamed the GAMEPRO theme to GAMEPRO1, went back to the site and it was also a blank page. Twenty Ten didn’t come up.

When the /GamePro/ directory was renamed, were you able to access your admin panel, or was that blank too?

    ok …

CHanged the Gamepro to gamepro1, and it let me into admin. I reactivated the theme and it read it as gamepro1. I now get a header error from within the gamepro theme folder.

Looking more into it. I tried to reproduce the error but you know how that goes. It didn’t want to come back out.

It sucks, I like this theme but it seems there may be some issues.

EDIT: Actually, I was looking at the errors above, that’s the error but the lines changed.

    any suggestions?

Looks like there’s an issue in the theme’s function.php file.

ok… an issue tells me nothing though m8, any idea? can ya point me in the direction I need to go to get it fixed ?

You have unexpected whitespace (either a space or an entire line) on line 321 of the /wp-content/themes/GamePro1/functions.php file. See this guide for more info.

Alternatively, replacing the file with one from a fresh download may resolve the issue.

    (@darksaint)

ok.. so would this be for the Functions.php or the config.php? Or should i just replace both?

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

As stated above, the /wp-content/themes/GamePro1/functions.php file.

    Ok james,

I replaced the functions.php with a new one. Tried to enter the admin area and got this one:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home2/darksain/public_html/wp-content/themes/GamePro1/functions.php:321) in /home2/darksain/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 890

In that case, reset the theme again, or just delete its directory entirely, and find an alternative.
