WP 1.5 How to add your own template?

    Hello,
    I upgraded from 1.2 to 1.5 and now my custom template is gone. How do I add or customize the templates in wp 1.5?

    I would prefer not to use all the current style sheets of wp 1.5 Just want it to look like my site as it did before.

    Thanks. Is there a way w/o going thru all 5 steps to simply use the old templae i had? It mentions in the above link,

    “The old method of generating pages will still work. If you are upgrading from v1.2 or v1.2.1 or v1.2.2, you can continue using your existing design. Keeping your older design will not prevent you from adding additional themes and easily switching between designs. “

    Nope, you need to follow the instructions in the link above. And it only takes 5 minutes.

    On your desktop, create a new folder called “WP files”. Into this, download the following files

    index.php
    wp-comments.php
    wp-comments-popup.php
    wp-layout.css

    are the instructions, but I cant seem to find wp-comments.php
    wp-comments-popup.php . Does anyone know where they would be?

    They are in your WP installation on your server ??
    Or, if you deleted them from the server, supposedly you have them on your hard drive – as abackup.
