BUG: When X is press sidebar Vanishes and can’t be reopened.

  • There are several issues.
    1, there is a bug, that when the X is pressed the sidebar vanishes. No tab appears to reopen the sliding sidebar again. That’s not ideal, because visitors need to be able to access the sliding sidebar over and over again.

    2. When using a desk/laptop, the plugin can be set so when the visitors scrolls the sliding sidebar retracts to the side of the page (or however you have it set)
    But when the visitor is on mobile and scrolls the sliding sidebar doesn’t retract. Which wouldn’t be an issue if the visitor could just put the X on the sliding sidebar, but the visitor can’t click the X on the sliding sidebar because there is a bug which is explained in issue 1.

    3. I sent an email to the developer 4 days ago and haven’t received a response. I am using the pro version and thought I would get pro service, but apparently not.

    Anyone have any ideas on how to solve the first 2 issues?

    I am using the pro version and thought I would get pro service, but apparently not.

    The developer can’t help you here. They would risk getting into real trouble if they supported any customers here.

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the developer directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

    As the developer is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

    *Looks for support link on developer’s site. Winces that the developer’s site totally violates the WordPress trademark. OK then, not sharing that here.*

    Thank you for your reply.
    I contacted the developer directly, twice. They haven’t responded.
    My only option was to look for help here.
    I’m hoping someone here has had the same problem and will have a “MacGyver” hack I can do.
