    Hello,

I cannot figure out how to customize the count of posts on my homepage.

“Reading Settings” -> “Blog pages show at most” is set to 9 and posts marked as Sticky are 3, but the homepage shows 11 posts.

Am I able to customize it through a custom loop as I was used to or is there another solution for how to do it – e.g. with some custom code in functions.php?

Hi @idefixx if you toggle off the option Inherit query from template you will see an option to set how many posts can be displayed by the Query Loop. The setting will be displayed on the blocks toolbar

Change the number of posts to be displayed on each page there.

Hi @thelmachido, thank you for pointing me in the right direction – “Items per page”. Other problems I’ve run into are that:

    1. Sticky posts are also included on another pages, e.g. /page/2 or /page/3
    2. URL of these (listing) pages is changed from /page/2 to /?query-0-page=2

So, I left the settings Inherit query from template on.

Sticky posts are also included on another pages, e.g.?/page/2?or?/page/3

Hi @idefixx you will also have to check the query loop block for those pages, make sure you have set the number of items per page.

URL of these (listing) pages is changed from?/page/2?to?/?query-0-page=2

There is currently an open request to have a better presentation of such links. Please see the open issue below, feel free to share your experience as well:

Hi @thelmachido, thank you very much for your kind support. My learning curve on how to use the 2023 theme with Gutenberg rises and yes, that takes some time, but it’s worth it.

Hi @idefixx I am happy to help, I will mark this issue as resolved for now. However, if you have any questions feel free to reach out for assistance
