    Hi,

Cloudpanel.io is a Hosting Control Panel. It is ultra-fast.
The technology stack is built with NGINX, PHP-FPM, Redis, and more.

The plugin “Hide My WP Ghost – Security Plugin” doesn’t work as it should. It gives the following error:

NGINX detected. In case you didn’t add the code in the NGINX config already, please add the following line.
    include /home/xxxx/htdocs/xxxx.com/hidemywp.conf;
Don’t forget to reload the Nginx service.

After manually adding the codes to the config file(reloaded nginx), and changing for example — the wp-content path(reloaded nginx) — .css, images, etc doesn’t load in the frontend, hence breaks the site.

I believe this is due to the Cloudpanel as other similar plugins had the same issue.

Please help with a solution if possible.
    Thanks,

  • Hey, thank you for the details.

Hide My WP Ghost should work with Cloudpanel.io . We will test it today with the same configuration and make a tutorial if there are special steps you need to follow.

Please tell me the version of WordPress and Hide My WP Ghost you have installed.

Did you try only Hide My WP Ghost without other plugins?

    Versions are the latest:

Hide My WP Ghost – Security Plugin: 5.0.20

    WordPress: 6.2

Yes, other similar plugin was inactive.

Thanks for the reply. Hoping for a resolution.

    Here are some hints:

Cloudpanel’s Vhost file can be found within the graphical user interface of each individual site. This is the same file that is inside the site-enabled sub-directory of NGINX.

Also, there is a nginx.conf file in the root directory of each site.

I tried adding the codes at both places. There were no rewrites happening.

    Hey,

We’ve tested the plugin with Cloud Panel open source and updated the plugin to work with it.

The new options will be available in the new version of the plugin but you can rollback to the previous version and update the plugin again to get the last changes.

Here is the step-by-step tutorial we made to set up Hide My WP on Cloud Panel websites.

Let me know if it’s working for your website.

    Best regards, John

I panicked as your plugin has to work to make the WordPress site 100% secure!

Thanks a bunch for making this happen and also it’s great to see that you have brought compatibility mode within the plugin.

    Great work.

    God bless.

    Your support was excellent!
