Hi, I have a table which doesn’t show all the columns full width. I know about the green + that allows you to list the row’s contents etc. But when I click the Test button against the table, I get a lovely screen showing all the columns. Can I get that to display on my normal WP page?

    Hi @andys007 ,

    Thanks for the post!

With this, can you please send us a screen recording of when this happens so we can assess this better?

Also, can you share the page URL of where this table is located?

    We’ll wait for your reply.

Can you send me the link to the website where I can post images and then send you the url? Also the temp admin facility I have used before.

    Thanks

    @andys007 Revoke that access.

If you give @aaronvincentlee admin access or any access to your site, they will be banned from www.remarpro.com and their plugin could be removed from this site.

It is that serious and @aaronvincentlee account is now flagged for moderation.

@aaronvincentlee Reply here that you do not have access, you will not request access from a forum user again and any access you were granted has been revoked. Honestly, do that immediately.

While I know you have the best of intentions, it’s forum policy that you not ask users for admin or server access. Users on the forums aren’t your customers, they’re your open source collaborators, and requesting that kind of access can put you and them at high risk.

If they are paying customers (such as people who bought a premium service/product from you) then by all means, direct them to your official customer support system. But in all other cases, you need to help them here on the forums.

Thankfully are other ways to get information you need:

    You get the idea.

We know volunteer support is not easy, and this guideline can feel needlessly restrictive. It’s actually there to protect you as much as end users. Should their site be hacked or have any issues after you accessed it, you could be held legally liable for damages. In addition, it’s difficult for end users to know the difference between helpful developers and people with malicious intentions. Because of that, we rely on plugin developers and long-standing volunteers (like you) to help us and uphold this particular guideline.

When you help users here and in public, you also help the next person with the same problem. They’ll be able to read the debugging and solution and educate themselves. That’s how we get the next generation of developers.

    Greetings @jdembowski ,

I understand the rule about not asking for access in WordPress forums.

“it’s forum policy that you not ask users for admin or server access.”

I do not have access to the customer’s site.

In my replies, there are no indications about me asking the customer for access in any way.

I simply asked for a screen recording and for the customer to share the page URL of where the table is located.

“If they are paying customers (such as people who bought a premium service/product from you) then by all means, direct them to your official customer support system.”

I understand. I provided the link to our plugin’s site contact form so that the customer can send us a direct message.

I am here to ask for reconsideration due to the fact that I have never asked for site access in my replies, after reviewing them.

Your patience and consideration are well-appreciated.
