    Hello,

I’m trying to hide my login page as I keep getting hacking attempts but when I installed WPS Hide Login I had to ask my hosting provider, who has access to my DB, to deactivate it for me because there was a conflict with TranslatePress and it just wouldn’t let me log in. I had very few other plugins installed, so I am almost certain it was TranslatePress, I imagine because of the URL changes (i.e example.com/en/login).

Is there something I can do that will let me use TranslatePress with a plugin that allows me to change the login page’s URL? Or is there some way I can do this manually? This is really important as I am receiving brute-force hacking attempts.

    Thanks a lot!

For the moment, we don’t have support for WPS Hide Login. It doesn’t work with TranslatePress as soon you use the subdirectory for the default language. Our development team will try to work to find a fix for this issue, but we don’t have a timeframe for it.

If you want to have a login page translated with TranslatePress you can choose to use a front-end login plugin like Profile Builder: https://www.cozmoslabs.com/wordpress-profile-builder/.

Thank you very much for replying!

I understand. It would be nice if you could add support to it ASAP because it’s not that they simply don’t work together, it actually breaks WordPress and users are unable to log in afterward. Some users, like myself, don’t have access to their databases, which means I had to contact my hosting provider for support so they could deactivate the plugin for me. Unfortunately, some hosting providers are just awful and take many days to reply, which means people could get locked out of their accounts.

For now, it would be great if you could add a warning! Maybe if you guys contacted the developers of WP Hide Login yourselves so you can explain the issue, they could take care of this. Thanks again and have a great rest of the week

    Hi again @alexcozmoslabs

I apologize for double posting but can you tell me if TranslatePress is compatible with the plugin “WP Hide & Security Enhancer”? This is what it says in their description:

    No file and directory change!
No file and directory will be changed anywhere. Everything is processed virtually. The plugin code uses URL rewrite techniques and WordPress filters to apply all internal functionality and features. Everything is done automatically without user intervention required at all.”

We haven’t tested with this paritcular plugin, but you can try it and let us know if something is not working properly.

    Kind Regards,
