So… Twitter is gone?

  • Took a while, but it seems Twitter has cut access from SNAP right?

    We’re seeing this error now:

    Is it gone for good?

    The likelihood of a fix is slim. Anybody know an alternative for Twitter?

    I guess Nextscript is dead. No answers save from a bot your ticket is accepted. However I managed to get Twitter working again:

    I have checked my Twitter developer account and it says my production app is suspended. It states an email has been sent but I haven’t been able to find it. It says I should open a support ticket but that doesn’t seem possible. When trying to get support on suspension it says I am not suspended.
    But
    It turned out my account was set to “paid” without paying. I could “downgrade” to “free” and then the suspension was lifted. Then it still doesn’t work if the app is not part of a project. Seems that this was undone somehow. I could add it to the still existing empty project.

    Mine was set to paid too but I didn’t discover that until I switched to another plugin. I’m probably not going to switch back. SNAP will become a security risk if not updated and something else will break. Thanks for the information, though.
