    Hello,

I’m interested in the Forminator Pro, but I’m not sure of its proper function.

So please let me know if your system is capable of this combination of functions:
    1/ create an inquiry form
2/ forward data to google spreadsheet ( name phone and other data) /create database/
3/ calculate the correct price of the enquiry based on the data provided
example: /client chooses two products and indicates where he/she lives /different prices according to his/her place of residence/ and therefore it is necessary to add the price of two products and add transport according to the place of residence/
4/ send an email to the client with the quotation / previously invisible to the client/ and supply us with a copy of the email.

A bonus for us would be if the emails could be sent as a sequential email responding to what the client does next.

    Hi @25user,

    1/ create an inquiry form

Forminator allows you to create custom forms with a wide variety of fields to collect data from users. If you are looking for a template, then Forminator only provides the following set of templates:

    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#form-templates

You can use any of these or customise your form according to your requirement.

2/ forward data to google spreadsheet ( name phone and other data) /create database/

The plugin provides out of the box integration with Google Spreadsheet, please check our doc for more info:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#google-sheets

You can also integrate using Zapier too, you can check regarding that in here:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#webhook

3/ calculate the correct price of the enquiry based on the data provided
example: /client chooses two products and indicates where he/she lives /different prices according to his/her place of residence/ and therefore it is necessary to add the price of two products and add transport according to the place of residence/

This should be possible, for basic calculations, you can use the  “Calculation” field, which can perform calculations based on other form fields.

For calculation based on user selections, you can enable the “Calculation” within the field, so that the user input will have a value that could be used to calculate.

    For example:

    Screenshot at 17:36:46.png

In the above screenshot, the calculation is enabled for the “Select” Field and Options Area A has a value of 10 and Area B has 20. So these values can be passed to the “Calculation” field based on the selection. You can also use radio, checkboxes for a similar workflow:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#radio-calculations

4/ send an email to the client with the quotation / previously invisible to the client/ and supply us with a copy of the email.

You can set up an email to be sent to the client and yourself with the quotation information within the “Email Notifications” tab,

You can refer the following doc:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#email-notifications

Please do note that all these features aren’t specific to the Pro version and can be carried out with the free version of Forminator. So would recommend you to check and see how the free version goes.

    Best Regards,

Hello I am testing your plugin now.

    I think I found a bug.

    Please check.

I have a checkbox of three values if the value is active the appropriate field “Field group” is displayed in which it is placed
    1/ “Select”
    2/ checkbox
    3/ checkbox

Unfortunately the Repeater of this box stops working, I have tried different combinations.
I believe it is a display rule.
Please advise me how to fix the situation.

Please provide a new ability to nest “Field group” in “Field group “to allow expanded forms.

    Thank you.

    Hi @25user

    I hope you’re well today!

Please provide a new ability to nest “Field group” in “Field group “to allow expanded forms.

It’s currently not possible to put Field Group inside another Field Group and due to how the form/plugin works (including all the possible conditional visibility rules, calculations and so on) it would be very complex improvement, if possible at all.

We are constantly expanding the plugin so it may become possible in future but for now there’s no workaround for that and it can’t be done using any additional custom code snippet, I’m afraid.

I think I found a bug. Please check. I have a checkbox of three values (…)

I’m not sure if I correctly understand how it’s setup/supposed to work so it would help if we could check the form in question. Would you please export and share the form itself with us?

    To export the form:
    – go to “Forminator -> Forms” page and click on a little “gear” icon next to the form in question
    – select “Export” option from the drop-down menu there
    – copy given code and put it at pastebing.com (as a public paste)
    – then share a link to it in your response below.

This way we’ll be able to import form to a test site and see exactly how it’s configured, then check how it works and either provide solution/explanation or confirm a bug (so our developers could fix it).

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Hi @25user

I see you have deleted your last post content. I’m not sure what would be the reason for this but if you still need assistance, let us know (and share form export – note: form, not form submissions!) and we’ll continue working with you.

Otherwise, can we consider the case closed if you don’t require further assistance?

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hello @25user ,

We haven’t heard from you for over a week now, so it looks like you no longer need our assistance.

Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.

    Kind regards
    Kasia
