• I am attaching multiple images to my posts / blogs. When looking at the posts, the images show up as cropped square images underneath the featured image.

When I click on one of the square images, it shows full size. But I cannot switch to the next or previous image. Rather I must click out of the image and then click onto the next image.

Is there a way to add a Lightbox feature to Kadence default posts?

  • Hello,

The theme provides a Lightbox through the customizer at Appearance > Customize > General > Performance. You can enable the Lightbox feature. You can add Kadence’s Advanced Gallery and link to a media file to trigger a lightbox.

Enable the feature, add a Kadence Advanced Gallery, link to a media file, trigger the lightbox under the Link Settings section of the Advanced Gallery block settings, and see if that works for you..

Thank you very much. Now in the post, the image shows up with an opaque border which is much nicer. But is there any way I can add an advanced gallery to the default post / blog page? I still cannot scroll from one image to the next.

Here is the documentation page for the Advanced Gallery block. After the theme’s lightbox feature is enabled, use the specific Kadence Advanced Gallery block to link to the media file and trigger a lightbox. Review the Link Settings section of the documentation page.
