    Hi @macsurf,

NextGen will automatically add this incremented number to the gallery folder’s name/slug in case that there’s already a gallery folder using the same name. You can check by FTP to see if you are using unique enough gallery names so it wouldn’t increment their slugs when you create new galleries.

We need to note that changing the gallery’s path will not change the already existing gallery folder but will simply create an empty gallery folder with a duplicate name thus that’s why it comes incremented. You’d need to manually transfer ( by FTP ) the image files from the old gallery folder to the new one.

    Unfortunately it doesnt work:

    1. Delete gallery folder
    2. Set in options a new folder for gallery: example-gallery
    3. Save settings

And after that I have the same problem … this time I have example-gallery-13 ??

    Hi @macsurf,

Sorry for missing to specify that you’d also need to delete the already existing Database gallery entries from ngg_gallery table for the increment to reset.
