XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document

    When I go to the XML link sitemap.xml I get the following error…

    This page contains the following errors:
    error on line 17 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

    I am using XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 4.1.9 on WordPress 6.1.1

    Hi there, long time users and love the plugin but the same issue has arisen for the past 24 hours:

    compareforexbrokers dot com /sitemap.xml

    Hi there, I had a closer look at the issue over the past 24 hours and in the sitemap the first row is blank and the sitemap starts on the second line. No changes have been made to the sitemap since Thursday so I don’t feel this is my team adding a space before/after the sitemap. Any idea the fix for this?
