[Plugin: Job Manager] Conditional tags

One more question!
When I try to use conditional tags for the starting date:

[if_job_field2] | Starting date: [job_field2][/if_job_field2]

I get that piece of code showing up in the frontend: North County Dublin[if_job_field2] | Starting date: [/if_job_field2]

What could I be doing wrong?
