• Hello, i have run into what i think is a bug with the upload process.

basically i have nextgen gallery installed on a site that i administer for a photographer friend of mine, i have set her up a log-in as an editor (so she cant go in and break any of the gubbins in the wp-admin area).

when i log in as administrator, i can successfully upload images to galleries etc. but if i log in with my friends log in (editor {i have set the permissions via the “Roles / capabilities” section}) the upload process goes through to 100% then when the page reloads (usually has the “(1) picture uploaded successfully” message) instead it has a blank main right content area (the wp-admin left nav and header are still there) so its getting stuck.

so when i log back in using the admin user again, and add another image to the same gallery, i can successfully upload images again

i am using the recent update of the nextgen gallery(Version 1.6.0) and version 3.0.1 of wordpress.

has anyone else found this to be an issue? or is it specific to me, i have tested both on my local server and live server, so i dont think its anything to do with my host

any feedback would be greatly appreciated

    cheers

    Tommy
