Thank you for your fantastic plugin and thorough explanations.

Right now my VPS shows that zend opcache ‘file cache’ and ‘ JIT‘ are DISABLED and that I’m using up available 128M memory.

My host support is worse than clueless on this and hoping you can mentor us whether ‘file cache’ and/or ‘JIT’ need/should be enabled.

And, should we be increasing available memory to some other number.

    THANKS

PS: running WP multisite networks and looking at Query Monitor we build up a high peak memory usage upon page load in frontend and admin. Flushing the object cache LOWERS the memory usage (counter intuitive) – it will go from using 160MB+/- to maybe 60MB… and then over a few days build back up again. Like something isn’t finishing a process or something. Any ideas on this? Thanks.

    Hi there,

whether ‘file cache’ and/or ‘JIT’ need/should be enabled.

No need, Docket Cache can run without it.

should we be increasing available memory to some other number

    Should increase it to 500M.

Like something isn’t finishing a process or something. Any ideas on this?

Probably because Docket Cache garbage collector and insufficient memory issue, you may try enabling debugging to see the cause of the issue.

    Thanks.
