Our developers have found a workaround to the current Twitter issue. We do not know how long this will last, but it works for now. The caveat is, that you can only do this once, creating only one FTS Twitter feed.

    Steps:

    1. Update the free FTS plugin to version 4.1.2
    2. In your WordPress dashboard, go to FT Social > Feeds and locate any Twitter feed(s) that you have created & delete those.
    3. In another browser tab, open up Twitter and login to the Twitter account you wish to display.
    4. Back in WordPress, go to FT Social > Add New Feed and select Twitter
    5. Click the “Login and get my access tokens” banner/button. Follow the prompts.
    6. Once returned to WordPress, it may take a few seconds for the green “create Twitter feed” bar to appear. Once it does appear, you can also click the settings and see your token & secret token. Click the bar & create your Twitter feed.
    7. Copy/paste the new shortcode to your WordPress page.

Again, This can only be done once, which is why you’ll need to delete any existing Twitter feed(s) in step 2. And, you will only be able to create one Twitter feed in FTS. At least, for now.

    Cheers,

Our developers have found another workaround to be able to display multiple Twitter feeds.

To do this, follow the steps below:

    1) You must be running the free FTS 4.1.2 plugin or later.

    2) You must be running PHP 7 or later.

    3) You must first?create a working Twitter feed.

    4) After you have created a working Twitter feed and have published that shortcode to your WP page, go to FT Social > Feeds and open your working Twitter feed.

    5) Click the green “Create Twitter feed” bar to open up the Twitter feed settings.

    6) Then, on the right, under “Publish” click “Duplicate Feed” (this will open up a new feed, with a new shortcode, we suggest changing the feed name so as to not confuse it with your original Twitter feed)

    7) Then, in the settings, change the Twitter Name, and click update.

    8) After that, copy/paste this shortcode to the WP page of your choice.

    That’s it, you’re done!

You can repeat this process for any more Twitter feeds that you need to add. As long as the access token and secret token do not change, this process will work.

    Cheers,
