• Hi! After I updated WordPress it showed some problems with checking out. When customers checked out the site can’t verify their address. “No shipment method has been selected. Please double check your address, or contact us if you need any help.”

I use woocommerce shipping &tax plugin.

  • The update to WordPress may have caused a conflict with your shipping settings or a plugin you are using on your site. Here are a few ways you can try to resolve the issue:

    Check your shipping settings:

Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping and make sure that you have at least one shipping zone set up and that it includes the customer’s address.

    Check your payment settings:

Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments, and ensure you have at least one payment method enabled.

    Update plugins and themes:

Try updating all of your WordPress plugins and themes to their latest versions. Sometimes, outdated plugins or themes can cause conflicts and errors.

If the issue persists, try placing an order from your site (following the same steps as a customer journey) and try to find what is causing the problem.

I hope this helps you to resolve the issue.

As I checked, shipping zone is fine. Payment looks ok to me. Theme is up to date. It gave me a headache!

If the error message appeared after a recent update or change to your website, try rolling back those changes to see if the issue resolves.

If you’ve made any customizations to your site, such as adding code to the functions.php file or making changes to your WooCommerce templates, revert them and see if the error message still appears.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to contact a WordPress developer or WooCommerce support for further assistance in resolving the error message.
