[Plugin: HeadSpace2 SEO] 0 remaining characters in page title

  • I am not sure if the plug in is working.

    I have installed it and have gone to update the settings and I have gone to page/posts settings and I have 0 remaining characters in the Page title section which becomes negative numbers if I type anything in.

    I have deleted the plugin and reinstalled and still get the same thing. I had a go a used the settings as they were but it did not seem to affect the browser title as expected. For example when on a post page I get a browser title the same as my blog title and when on the home page the broweser title shows the page title for the 1 out of the 2 posts that i added a page title to.

    What am I doing wrong please

  • hello mate – i had the same problem sorted it like this

    go to plugins – click on the headspace settings, click on page modules at the top.

    under simple edit the page title and set the max length to what you want – i assume under 254.

    that should be all but mine still didnt work until i had then clicked on the “force title rewrite” box too

    then click save and the title should come up with what you entered on the page title setting
