    Hello! We are using
    WordPress: Current version: 6.1.1
    Wordfence: Version 7.9.1

So the problem is that in a Wordfence Dashboard we have a link error when clicking the “9 issues found in most recent scan” link in a NOTIFICATION section. The problem is that the link has double “\\” instead of single “\” before ‘wp-admin’ slug.

    Hi @zhunus1,

Could I just check whether you’re running your site on a Windows environment as the slashes you’re seeing are “\\” rather than “//”? Note that we don’t officially support running Wordfence on the Windows platform.

If that’s not the case, if you could provide any supporting screenshots like the browser console showing more URLs with double slashes, or is it just links from within Wordfence and nowhere else? You can now include images on the forums by clicking the “+” in a new paragraph block and selecting “Image“, then Upload once you’ve picked a file.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

As you see there is double // before wp-admin! That causes the problem.

Thanks @zhunus1 for providing the screenshot.

Plugins like WPML can add in extra slashes at times when they shouldn’t, so it might be worth disabling all plugins except for Wordfence. If you stop seeing double-slashes on links, reenable your other plugins one-by-one until the issue returns to find the cause. If you still get the issue with only Wordfence enabled and your “WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address (URL)don’t contain trailing slashes in WordPress > Settings > General, then let me know.

    Thanks again,
    Peter.
