Hi, I am using elementor + crocoblock Jetformbuilder plugin for my custom user registration form. How can I add this to this form and what are the rules or directions to follow in making sure it works?

Hope to get your help on this, looking forward to using your app. Thanks

Thank you for showing interest in our plugin.

Just to confirm we are understanding your question, are you looking to use 2FA for user registration purposes? 2FA is for user logins and not for user registrations.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yes, but 2FA need to first be set by the user when registering his/her account right? Then only it can be used when they want to login. Get what I mean?

Sorry I did not explain it better in the first message. Thanks

    Hello @muadmz

During the user registration process the user is not yet created on the system. Therefore the user should register first, once the user is created and they log in, they will be prompted to configure 2FA.

I hope the above answers your question. If you need further information please let us know.

Thanks for the reply. May I ask if the user prompt to configure 2FA will be at the front end of my website? I am asking because I am use Crocoblock’s profile builder to allow users to have their own front-end profile page. So I would like this configuration to happen on the front end.

I am guessing I will need to create a new page on that and add something to it? Please advise. Thanks again.

I forgot to mention. Basically, all users except the administrator will not have access to the wordpress dashboard. They will always be redirected to the front-end profile dashboard. In this case, how will users setup their 2FA code during their first login?

One does not need to have backend access to configure 2FA. This can also be done from the front-end of the website. The plugin has support for such setup, you just need to configure it to allow 2FA configuration on a front-end page.

I hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
