We are finishing creating an online store and we have doubts about how to manage backups.

We put ourselves in the worst and thinking that our site is broken by any thing or circumstance: update of a plugin that is not compatible, installation of a plugin, etc…

It happens that in the period that our website is out of service, two orders enter, 3, 4, 70, any number of orders, or two users register, 3, 8, 19, any number of users.

    How can I manage this?
How can I restore only the users of my website, or the orders, or any table in my database, etc…?

Where we host the Web has daily backups, you only copy the website files but I would like to have control when it comes to managing the backups and that I can restore at any time: entries, products, orders, users

I would like to have control over backing up and restoring the parts of my website and database that I need, just those.

The project is new and is under construction and investments have already been made. I would like to know the plugins that I can use to achieve this, if they are free much better.

    How to manage website backups?

How to restore only certain tables of the database?

Thank you, I hope to find a way to learn how to manage website backups

    Hello @miguelappstudio,

I understand you want an advanced backup option. You can check Jetpack VaultPress Backup.

I’ve been using this tool on my test sites for a while now and it has never let me down. It even records every change made on the site, so if you ever publish a page that causes your site to crash, you can easily revert back to the point before the page was published and get your site back up and running in just minutes.

It also integrates very smoothly with WooCommerce, so your orders and products are not affected by the backup point.

Alternatively, you can check one of the options mentioned in this guide.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks, very interesting.
Despite not offering many resources, it helped me understand a little more the meaning and how to make backup copies.
    Thank you
