• I am rather new to blogging. I am using the STC V. 2.7.4. It works fine for the most part, however, when the subscriber clicks their link to activate the subscription, the message (Confirmation email [email protected] is not in the [update_]approval state) is still being generated. I have looked at “Resolved” topics and tried one of the “fixes” for an early version, but my version will not take the correction. It gives an error message that says the change could not be made. I can’t get my subscribers activated. What do I do?

    Thank you,

    Pamela

who created the subscriber? If that is an admin user and logged in when the subscriber is created without going into the approval state.

look after the subscriber is created bit bedore confirmed to the state of the subscribers. Check if it contains the state you expect.

The subscriber created it in the subscribe widget on my website. When they clicked the link in the email to activate the subscription, the page it took them to had the message (Confirmation email?[email protected]?is not in the [update_]approval state) on it. I am the only Admin on the site. I have two subscribers that I put in manually and they are in approval status. The three that went through my website and are in publish status. I had looked up the problem in the forum before I posted m problem and found one of the resolved topics had a fix in line 386 of class-stc-subscribe.php I went to that line in my version STC v. 2.7.4 and made the change suggested but it would not save the correction.

This is my web site address: https://www.bringingjesusn2focus.com The widget is in the side bar at the bottom right.
