Request: Custom API on new blogpost!

I have my own short-url service, and I would like to use it, so my links will be shorter, when I’ve made a new blogpost, and it posts it on a social network as Twitter or Facebook. Is this possible? I’ve tried to search for a long time, without luck. I would really appreciate your help. ??
