Checking the screenshot, it seems the Google Search Console report is unable to detect the URLs when submitting the sitemap with only https.

As your actual site URL is non-www, i.e., https://dealinsi.com/, I would recommend that you add it as your website’s main property in Google Search Console.

Additionally, we suggest the following actions:

    1. Clear all your caching from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like CloudFlare or browser. If you are not sure how to clear caching from theme/plugin please speak to those authors. If you want to clear cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser use this guide: https://yoast.com/help/submit-sitemap-search-engines/

    2. Delete your sitemap in Google. Doing so will not hurt the SEO of the site. This guide explains more (scroll to the bottom): https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/183669?hl=en.

    3. Submit the sitemap again. Be sure to submit only sitemap_index.xml and nothing else. This guide explains more:

    4. Monitor the results to see if the issue is resolved. It can take some time before Google can report on the crawled URLs after you re-submit your sitemap, especially for?large sites?like yours. Google Search Console reports?are not real-time.

    Thank you for your response.

I deleted the property “dealinsi.com” and added only “https://dealinsi.com” as you mentioned, it’s only the property for that domain on Google Search Console now no other properties.

I also deleted the sitemap and added only “https://dealinsi.com/sitemap_index.xml” but the discovered URLs are zeros and there aren’t any sub-sitemaps. https://ibb.co/BGvFHC5 when adding the sub-sitemaps I can the discovered URLs for each one.

    Shouldn’t I add all my website versions “https://dealinsi.com, https://www.dealinsi.com, dealinsi.com”?

This is another screenshot for the sitemaps but on Bing

When adding this sitemap https://dealinsi.com/sitemap.xml it shows the sub-sitemaps with discovered URLs

    Hi @sa5awii92

We’re not sure what to advise aside from reaching out to the Google Search Central Community and creating a post.

We do see that the /sitemap.xmldoes correctly 301 redirect to /sitemap_index.xml, and that submitting it in Bing, it is read properly. However, we’re not sure why Google in particular reads the URLs under /sitemap.xml, but is unable to read it when submitted under /sitemap_index.xml.

But since it redirects and contains the same URLs, that may just be fine for your GSC account and reporting, as you should still be able to check and validate the data of the submitted URLs and treat it as the same.

I feel like Google can’t read my sitemap.

Should I add all the sub-sitemaps instead of the main one? ( I already added both).

Your collogue recommended to I add ?https://dealinsi.com/ as my website’s main property in Google Search Console. I did that then the website’s impression then it dropped again to 3 and 5 like almost zero!!!

In robots.txt, the sitemap URL has non-HTTPS link while your site is in HTTPS. Please edit and correct the sitemap URL.

Clear cache and resubmit the sitemap to Google Search Console.

I updated it to Sitemap: https://dealinsi.com/sitemap_index.xml, should I add all the subsitemaps in my case?

    Hi,

We do see that you’ve updated the robots.txt file to add a link to the sitemap with the HTTPS version. No, there’s no need to add the sub-sitemaps in the robots.txt file, as it should be covered in the main sitemap index.

We recommend that you remove and resubmit it in Google Search Console and monitor it over time. We’ve seen cases where this definitely can take time, from weeks up to a month or two.

No, I mean should I add the sub-sitemaps in the?Google Search Console?

If I’m going to wait this long, is this case will be closed?

    Hi @sa5awii92

Thanks for getting back to us.

You won’t need to submit the sub-sitemaps on the Google Search Console and only need to submit the sitemap_index.xml, like as we mentioned at our help center.

    We hope this helps.

    Thank you a lot.

One last question, in my case should I add only the HTTPS version to Google Search Console or the domain property?

As your website loads in the HTTPS version, you only need to submit the sitemap to the URL-prefix property with HTTPS. If you have verified the website using the domain property, then you can add the sitemap URL like https://dealinsi.com/sitemap_index.xml to the GSC.

    We hope this helps.
