Have had GTranslate installed since we moved to WordPress as it’s just what we need – and was simple to implement The latest update has changed the display from a single row of flags to a column of rows, which makes it unusable.

We had it set to display in the menu, which displayed this result; changing it to “None” with a custom menu item with [gtranslate] (as suggested in another thread) made no difference but is what we have now.

Using the floating options are not appropriate, as it hides important information wherever you put it.

I need a simple quick fix, please. I will have to disable the plugin later on today, as I can’t leave it like that for long.

    Hi,

I have checked your website and I see that there is no much space for the language flags and the dropdown selector to fit in one row. You can try to add the following in Custom CSS section: a[data-gt-lang] {display:inline-block!important} and also you can uncheck “Line break after flags” option.

I recommend you to use Flags with language names widget look with Show in Menu option, so it can display the current language and a submenu dropdown with other languages like you have it for “About Us” in your menu.

    Thanks! ??

Well, there was plenty of room with previous version. The Flags with dropdown option was what we used because we offered a lot of different languages.

Your CSS code certainly gets the flags in a row but they are now separated by a huge amount of space, not in a tight row, which is what I see in the preview.

This update has clrealy caused a lot of problems for a lot of sites and, frankly, I cannot see why you don’t just admit that, let us have what used to work perfectly well as an option. Instead you make us jump through hoops to get your plugin to work properly after you’ve updated it.

I’m sorry, that’s not good enough, and I will now disable it and remove it.

Pity, before this update it was really good.

Not sure about plenty of room. Currently your menu has no space for more elements.

Not sure why you give up so easily, but it is your choice. I was ready to help to get it right.

    Thanks! ??
