A second WordPress installation within same database?

  • Hi everyone

    Can someone tell me if it is possible to have a second WordPress installation on the same domain, but using the same database as the first?

    I have upgraded to Multisite but this has never worked properly. The first Blog works though, so I am wondering if the best solution is just to do a second installation. My ISP only allows 1 database though. Could a second installation co-exist with the first?

    Yes, but make sure you use a separate database prefix.

    Like your current site has WP_whatever

    Make your second one PW_whatever (as an example). They can’t be the same prefix is all ??
