    the plugin constantly disconnects with Hootsuite and keeps asking to authorize it again and again and again. It’s been consistent in asking to authorize for 5 times in the several months that I have been using it compared to the 2 years I’ve used it. Any reason why it keeps asking to authorize the plugin constantly?

    Numerous reasons:

    • Your server and WordPress timezones are different
    • Site has extremely low traffic, meaning the access token expires before a request is made to the site to trigger a request to refresh it
    • An attempt to refresh the token was made, but a third party Plugin produced an error or warning that resulted in a failure

    You’re therefore welcome to either resolve above possible list of issues, or find a more suitable social sharing plugin – perhaps our free Buffer plugin (which does not need to refresh a token, so this error will not occur).
