Permalink Issue. Please help.

    I recently set up my own website on version 3.0.1. I’d prefer not to mention the name of my site here a while. I designed it using the Delericon theme. Basically I’m having a problem with Permalinks on the site and I’m not sure why.

    The permalink structure is currently set to /%postname%. That’s fine. However, when I change it to /%category%/%postname% some of the links (generally images) on the site break. For example when I go to one of the posts I’m not able to see the logo on the top left hand corner as the image is broken. Also, an image within the post body is broken.

    However, when I revert back to /%postname% everything is fine again. I would like to have the /%category%/%postname% structure on my website. Plugins installed and activated are:

    All in One SEO Pack
    Dean’s Permalinks Migration
    Shockingly Simple Favicon
    WordPress Importer

    Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hard to tell without a link to the site, but suggest that you temporarily disable all plugins while you update the permalinks and see if that makes a difference.

    Then see if it all still works OK with the plugins re-enabled.
