Can’t Update Site with WordPress Mobile App

    When attempting to update https://dallaspoodles.com through the WordPress Mobile app, updates are shown on the individual pages, but the site never updates, no matter how many time you tap “Update.” Running WordPress 6.1.1 with Elementor 3.11.3. App version is 21.8. Only plugins activated are Elementor and Elementor Pro. This is bound to be a simple fix, but I usually don’t update with the mobile app.

    Hi, @ministryconsultants! Can you give us a link to a particular page on your site you’re trying to update in the app? Which part of it have you been trying to update?

    Also, just to be sure the site really hasn’t updated yet and it’s not just a browser caching issue, have you already checked the site on a different browser or using an incognito window?

    The updated page is https://dallaspoodles.com/meet-our-poodles/. The page is updated in the app, but when viewing the site, the page is not updated in different browsers or incognito windows. The dog, “Ruth”, has been replaced with “Pity.” BTW, the site is hosted on GoDaddy.

    I see the trouble. Elementor has it’s own content editor that’s different from the built-in editor of WordPress. The WordPress app is only compatible with the WordPress editor, not with Elementor’s. Inspecting the page https://dallaspoodles.com/meet-our-poodles/ it looks like it was built with Elementor’s editor, so you’ll need to continue to use that same editor in a browser to make updates to it. The WordPress app won’t be able to modify it.
