    Hi,

i tried to create an Ad with this plugin which i find really easy and intuitive to use. My problem is that it seems it doesn’t work? Should i have Google Adsense to use the ads, or to make them work? If yes i cannot have it as my website is in albanian language and Google Adsense doesnt support this language/country.
If not then i think i need help to understand how to make these ads work. I can make it to display the ad in my website but i need to understand how works the content. How is it displayed. In case of an image ad why doesnt work when i click over it?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards.

    Hi Jonida,

    Thanks for reaching out.

If I understand this correctly, AdSense does not restrict Albania.

So, if your AdSense account and website are approved, you should be able to use Advanced Ads to place AdSense ads on your website.

I recommend testing the placements from Advanced Ads first using a simple image or dummy ad. This ensures the AdSense code also appears correctly if you switch the ad afterward. So after creating an ad unit, please use a placement of choice to position the ad in the frontend of your website.

Positioning AdSense ads manually works by placing one code snippet in the <head> section of your website and a second one at the place where you want to see the ad. After connecting Advanced Ads and AdSense in the Advanced Ads settings tab the injection of the header code is taken care of. Now you need to create your AdSense ad unit in your AdSense account.

Advanced Ads can then import these ad units if you choose the AdSense ad type while creating a new ad.

In addition, please see this manual about manually placing AdSense ads in WordPress. There is a video included.

In case of an image ad why doesnt work when i click over it?

Please make sure the exit link is defined for this ad unit in the ad parameter section on the ad edit page. https://d.pr/i/SFeAy2

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,
    Henning

    Hi,

thanks for your kind reply. So before i try to make it work, I wanted to explain that i have AdSense and connected my website but the third step for making it work hasn’t been completed as AdSense says that the website has a policy violation issue which is:

    Unsupported language

We do not allow content that:

So is it possible that because of this the plugin doesn’t properly work?

    Thanks again.

Btw going back to your reply:

I recommend testing the placements from Advanced Ads first using a simple image or dummy ad.?– I did this and the ad displayd was a grey rectangle in the place i choose to place it with written in white AD. Not sure was ok like thi.

Positioning AdSense ads manually works by placing one code snippet in the <head> section of your website and a second one at the place where you want to see the ad. – I just placed the widget of this plugin to the place i choose. So i should place also the code in the <head> section?

Please make sure the exit link is defined for this ad unit in the ad parameter section on the ad edit page.?https://d.pr/i/SFeAy2 – I did put a link but was from Instagram, so may it be the reason it doesn’t work? If you go in https://marteseneshqiperi.com/dasma/dekorimet-e-tortave-te-dasmave/ you can check yourself (on the right side after the Amazon ads. ??

Looking forward to your kind reply.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Jonida,

    Thanks for your detailed reply.

Advanced Ads can help you to place AdSense ads or other ad code and images on your page but is not related to Google itself nor has any influence on the approval process for AdSense.

If your AdSense account is not approved e.g., because of an “Unsupported language” there is not much I can do. Please also notice the warning on the linked AdSense policy guide:

Note: Placing Google ad code on pages with content primarily in an unsupported language is not permitted by the Google Publisher Policies.

I would suggest testing a few alternative networks. Find those that we are currently recommending in?this list on our website.

I did this and the ad displayd was a grey rectangle in the place i choose to place it with written in white AD.

Thanks for confirming the general ad injection works on your website.

I just placed the widget of this plugin to the place i choose. So i should place also the code in the head section?

By connecting Advanced Ads and AdSense, the plugin takes care of this part, and you do not need to act here.

I did put a link but was from Instagram, so may it be the reason it doesn’t work?

This behavior is not related to the origin of the link you’re using.
I checked back your website and found the image ad in your sidebar. By hovering over it or using right-click “open link in a new tab” you can see the correct link is applied. On your page itself, there is another plugin active opening all images in a light box which causes the image to show but not redirecting the visitor to your Instagram.

I suggest looking into this plugin and finding a way to restrict it only to the images you need the light box behavior applied at.

    Best regards,
    Henning

    Hi Henning,

thank you for your exhaustive reply. All clear. I will investigate the Google adsense more deeply and try also to fix the lighbox issue that i’m having since a while now.

Thank you also for the alternative networks. Really usefull. Will take a look at them asap. ??
