Hi there, I see that you’ve disabled the map feature of the plugin on your site. Can you please re-enable it and then try to reproduce the issue, but this time take a screenshot of your browser console for me so I can see what it says.

If you’re not sure how to access your browser console please read here: https://balsamiq.com/support/faqs/browserconsole/

Hi, thanks for the prompt reply. So the map feature is enabled on the checkout page and we are not forcing the customer to select a location on the map. Furthermore I have found that the plugin is working as intended on a mobile device. The issue we are having seems to be on a desktop. Where should I upload the screenshot of the browser console? The issue appears to be the detect my location is not working on a desktop computer. Not sure if the issue is specific to just our desktop or others. perhaps a security setting. thanks again.

@saffrosol You can upload it here: https://postimages.org/

I have a fix working on but I cant be sure if it’s the same issue you’re having. The fix is for when a customer denies access to their location and then they try to click the “detect current location” button.

Did you deny the site access to your location? Can you try visiting the site from a different device but allow it access to see if the map works fine?

ok everything seems to be working now. it was location settings on computer denying access. thanks again.

@saffrosol Ok well i will be releasing a patch to fix that soon, the customer should be able to still choose(manually) their location on the map if they deny location access. I’ve identified the cause so this will be fixed in v1.7.3

If you’re liking the plugin, would you mind leaving a review? It really helps and keeps me motivated to continue making the plugin better for everyone!

This should be fixed in the latest plugin version
