Social media Icons don’t show

Thank you for your message, Nick. My name is Jonna :). Well, I chose “via shortcode”. I added the widget (“vimpain” in Finnish) to Footer but where should I put this text [DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS] :D? Our page is from the year 2018.

Ah, sorry Jonna ?? You can put the text [DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS]?anywhere, for example into a text widget. Does that work?

Hi, no unfortunately. When I added the text [DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS] the Footer left the space for the icons, like there would be a good spot for the icons, but there is nothing on that empty space.

Could you please:

• check if the “place icons manually/via shortcode” option is selected under question number 3 in the plugin
• try to add the shortcode [DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS] in a HTML widget
• clear your browser/website cache after you’ve went through the above steps

Does that help? If not let us know where you placed the icons (without removing them) so we can check why they aren’t displaying.

Hi, I tried. We are using Classic Widgets so maybe that’s the reason this doesn’t work.
