Redirection ignores # parameter

I am trying to redirect a specific url, being https://ukwa.net/profiles/a#nikki-ash to https://ukwa.net/profiles/c#nikki-cross however even when omitting the #nikki-ash part, som simply using https://ukwa.net/profiles/a, it will still redirect to https://ukwa.net/profiles/c/#nikki-cross

Initially I instructed the plugin to ‘Pass on parameters’ however have also tried ‘Ignore parameters’ and ‘Ignore trailing slashes’
