OOP and Options Pages

Can someone point me to a tutorial on how to create and use a PHP Class – Method OOP structure to build a Theme options page and options? I’d appreciate it. I’ve found some themes that use this method and I’d like to learn more about it. If you have thoughts on using that method, I’d appreciate that too. I have found different ways of producing options pages such as procedural with options built using arrays and using the WordPress Settings API. Which is better, more efficient and so on? The reason I would like to use the OOP method is actually more about learning but I’d like to hear about it in relation to building options pages.
