Block Toggle Inserter: Doing nothing

AND YET it works fine in a pristine instance of WP 6.1.1. I just installed.

Right! I should have mentioned that. It’s malfunctioning in my WP 6.1.1. Multisite.

Basically, my Blue Block Toggle Inserter is not functioning, even though I’ve deactivated all plugins and switched to the Twenty Twenty-Three theme.

It sounds like this issue is specific to the site you are working with, is the Gutenberg plugin active on the affected site?

I do not have the Gutenberg plugin activated.

When I hover over that Block Toggle Inserter icon, nothing happens to my cursor. Nor when I Click.

This is happening on multiple sites in my WP Multisite.

(And yet, to rule out anything browser-related, the blue Block Toggle Inserter above, in the editing screen of this post, is working just fine.)

Thank you for providing more information, so one of the block inserters is working but the other isn’t.

I do not have the Gutenberg plugin activated.

Can you please check if the issue persists after activating the plugin? That might be the reason your inserter isn’t working.

In my problematic WP Multisite, none of the block inserters are working on any of the the individual sites.

I have now activated the Gutenberg plugin. Still no joy!

Hi @mcyzyk can you turn on debugging on your site and install the Debug Bar plugin and see which errors are coming from your site. This might help to figure out the issue you have been having.
