Changing the Sidebar

    I posted this earlier but I guess it was lost in the crash….

    Is there a way to change the content of the Sidebar for different pages?

    I searched it out but didn’t find anything.

    Yes.

    I don’t know all the details but basically you can change the single page or the category page so that instead of calling the sidebar.php file, it just has what it needs for the sidebar already within the single.php or the category.php file. GreenTracks theme does it this way if you want to see how it looks in those files.

    There may be other and/or better ways of doing it if a PHP guru corrects me, I won’t be offended.
