The “settings” button shows almost nothing, just “general”. I am simply trying to shut web page/site after submit is pushed/hit/etc.

This is my first form, and I am a wordpress newbie although Ive done a lot of SharePoint.

  • Hey @dpenny2 – Thanks for contacting us!

When you have sometime, can you please share a screenshot of the issue you’re facing so I can take a look look?

That said, there might be a conflict between the forms and the site theme or another plugin. To troubleshoot this, please try the steps described in our detailed guide on how to test for plugin/theme conflicts.

    Hope this helps!

    Reset of my Q please:

How do I close form and leave web site after user hits “submit” button?

I am using WP form lite.

Hey @dpenny2 – Thanks for following on this ticket!

If you’re looking to leave the website after a user submits the form, you can set up the form Confirmation as shown in our documentation here.

Please let me know how it goes!

    Kindly,

    Hey @dpenny2,

We haven’t heard back from you since my last reply, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!

Hi. Go to form settings and set your confirmation messages. Congrats, the problem will be solved.

None of the replies above are what I need/want. I don’t want to re-direct the user, I want to shut down the “window.” Can I “hook” the “compleation” event and “close.window” with forms-lite?

Hey @dpenny2 – You should be able to close the window after submitting the form, however, I apologize as customizations like this are outside of our scope for support. In case you’d like to look into custom development options, we highly recommend using Codeable.

    Thanks!
