    Hi

    Can you help me please

I am trying to restrict a page which contains a shortcode for a plugin called Knowledge Pro from Quanumcloud without success. I have disabled the majority of plugins in our dev site and cleared website and browser caches but the page is still displayed without a login. I raised the problem with Quantumcloud who recommended using Restrict Pages which works but I don’t want t use it as there is no support and the change password function doesn’t work.

I have pasted the short codes I am using below.

    [content_control roles=”Subscriber, Author, Contributor”] content [/content_control]

    [kbx-knowledgebase order=”ASC” disable_category_sidebar=”false” show_search_form=”true”]

I would appreciate your help with the above.

    Kind regards

    John

    Hi @jcato

Thank you for getting in touch, and we’re happy to help.

The Content Control shortcode doesn’t have a feature to show a login form or redirect to a login page.

If you’d like to show a login form, you’ll have to create a restriction with a redirection to your login page.

    Please see:

If you’d like to keep using the shortcode, kindly update that to the below code. Note: No login form will show on that page.

    [content_control roles="administrator, subscriber,editor" message="You don’t have access to this."][kbx-knowledgebase order=”ASC” disable_category_sidebar=”false” show_search_form=”true”][/kbx-knowledgebase][/content_control]

Let us know what happens. Thank you!
